    A sequence of six drawings on one side having poetic text shaped to mirror the image on the reverse. The design of the book carries the intention of encouraging the viewer/reader to appreciate poetry and art in equal measure. Exhibited at the Upright Gallery, Edinburgh, 2021. Acquired by the National Library of Scotland Special Collections and by the Edinburgh University Library Centre for Research Collections.

Each volume hand-stitched in archival manila with linen thread, with a hand-printed shoji paper cover title to each. Case-bound Japanese style in maroon cloth, with Fabriano Ingres endpapers and bone clasps, hand-printed shoji paper cover title to front.

    Haiku are published also by the British Haiku Society and the Irish Haiku Society.

    Presented in a hand-made glazed wood-frame cabinet with brass closures and fixings.

    Each fascinating monochrome is emphasised by white, and white, in turn, in this book becomes interesting. Then, an accurate measure from each monochrome is added to white – an ink is created – the text is written, being born of, being part of, the image upon which it is now printed. Fixed. The White Porcelain Bowls are filled with Symphonies of Yellow. Look closely. Look again. Look again. Look for longer…
